Marketing & PR Initiatives

One of our emerging organizational challenges is to ensure that Speed, Quality and Cost are always at the focus of our Team.

To achieve a Leaner Organization, we have allocated appropriate resources equipped with the right knowledge, skills and time to high priority projects to study the work-flow processes and make them leaner. We have a special team to identify, scope and select improvement projects based on the rational criteria of maximizing ROIC (Return on Invested Capital) or potential effect on Customers and critical to quality projects. They are specially skilled and trained in both Lean processes and Six Sigma-Green and Black Belt programs to be able to deliver the set goals.

We have a team called ‘Kaizen Team’ or simply ‘KT’ (Kaizen is a word in Japanese for “improvement” or “change for the better”, refers to the philosophy or practices that focus upon continuous improvement of processes to support business management). When used in the business sense and applied to the workplace, Kaizen refers to the activities that continuously improves all functions, and involves all employees from the management to the front line workers. It also applies to processes, such as purchasing and logistics that cross organizational boundaries. Also by improving standardized activities and processes,Kaizen aims to eliminate waste.

Lean is linked to speed, efficiency and elimination of waste. The goal of KT is to accelerate the speed of any process by reducing the waste in all its forms and build an ability to see cost and lead time reduction opportunities on a continuous basis.

KT applies the Lean concepts, tools and challenges the process steps that were once thought were essential and point out the unnecessary steps to eliminate waste and achieve efficiency in current operational processes.

All the key team members are Six Sigma qualified.
